As part of our event staff, you will be required to be an all around super star, with an amazing attitude and customer service skills. This is a part time/shift work position, but we treat our team members like family which means that as our business grows, you grow with it.

Your job is to deliver on all aspects of a function according to the Event Order contracts and management expectations.

Duties include:

  • Complete all event duties per our project task list
  • Creating floorplans and agendas based on the client contract
  • Ordering all relevant inventory for the event
  • set up/tear down of events
  • Scheduling staff
  • Liaising with internal and external team members/suppliers
  • Anticipating guest needs and providing superior guest satisfaction at all times
  • Quality control
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Observing of legal aspects of the operation, e.g. liquor related regulations, food safety etc.
  • Ensuring proper closing
  • Ensuring proper cash out procedures
  • Maintaining targeted labor and product cost according to the profit plan
  • Maintaining equipment

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a similar food & beverage operation
  • Impeccable guest service skills
  • Hands on leader with a proven track record of superior guest satisfaction
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Serving It Right required Food Safe I required; level II preferred; First Aid level I required; level II preferred
  • Good administrative and computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Intermediate Excel and Online project management system
  • Personable, friendly and outgoing
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • High energy and strong work ethic
  • Ability to do shift and weekend work
