We are looking for that special individual to work with our experienced Chef Concierge and Concierge Team, to turn moments into memories for our guests. You must be a true professional that role models our Service Promises while engaging and assisting our guests.

You will work with a team that includes 3 Clefs D’or Concierge and many years of experience that they enjoy sharing with their Concierge colleagues. Opportunities for learning and growth are unlimited as you work with key departments in the Hotel and area vendors.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Concierge, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • To provide a courteous and professional service at all times, utilizing our Service Promise Essentials to turn moments into memories for our guests
  • To provide correct information about dining and lounge areas and all other hotel related services
  • To offer assistance to all guests in making reservations and arrangements for dining, activities and tours; for example, horseback riding, limousine services, theatre tickets, sporting events
  • To provide correct and accurate information on tourist sites and activities, including being well versed in their individual company policies and procedures
  • To assist guests with their various in-house requests through Royal Service Manager
  • To assist guests with Dining information and reservations through our Open Table Concierge reservation system
  • To assist guests with Spa information and reservations through our Spa Soft reservation system
  • To assist guests with golf tee times facilitated through the golf computer system
  • To log reservations, create confirmations and itineraries, provide information and be well versed on the iConcierge computer program
  • To assist with any special requests the guest may have
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma
  • Complete knowledge of all hotel’s facilities and tourist attractions/ activities in the Town of Banff
  • High attention to detail
  • Proven track record providing excellent guest service
  • Flexible schedule
  • Member of Les Clefs d’Or is an asset.
  • Second language is an asset.
  • Diploma in Hotel Management an asset
  • One year of experience at the Front Reception or Guest Services is an asset.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
