That is where you come in. tentree is looking to bring on a game-changing Product Assistant . As part of our exclusive summer student program you will have the opportunity to work closely alongside senior-level managers and make a significant impact on the company. The Summer Student Product Assistant will be self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail when it comes to all aspects of Product and Technical Design. The role will involve all facets of design, product development and production. The tentree design team is a fast-paced group that is growing quickly and always working on new and exciting projects. We’re looking for someone that can join this group and help take the tentree brand to the next level.

On a day-to-day basis, the Product Assistant will:
Comment on QA of samples

Assist in research, sourcing and development of new seasonal styles, materials, and trims

Create and update technical sketches

Create and update colour lineplans

Partake in independent design projects

Assist product team with day to day tasks

Keep design department organized

Important Qualifications :
Pursuing a degree/diploma in Fashion Design or related field.

Must have in-depth experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Essential Qualities :
Strong understanding of garment specs, construction and tech packs

Advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop

Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and has the ability to multi-task

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team

Passionate about the environment and a desire to have a truly incredible impact

Must be a self starter , collaborative and flexible

Experience with PLM is preferred, however, not necessary

Self-initiated creative thinker whose process does not end when the workday is over

Lead an active outdoor lifestyle and can relate to the needs of like-minded consumers

Passionate about the environment and a desire to have a truly incredible impact

Effective verbal and written communication skills required

Ability to navigate within a fast-paced and multiple-task environment and operate with a sense of urgency to meet timelines

Highly organized, excellent time management skills, detail oriented, and proactive in problem solving
