The Strategy Manager role within the BCX Capacity Planning team is an exciting new opportunity available. Be part of a team to build the capacity planning capabilities to help take BCX to the next level. The objective is to ensure we balance our Customer First goals, TELUS Strategic direction and our desire to drive efficiencies into our business through the art of Capacity Planning.
Responsibilities:
Interlock with leadership teams across BCX, including Care, ISD, Assure and Field teams to create comprehensive business capacity plans and strategic outlook
Develop demand drivers and forecasts in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and New Product and Service Teams
Negotiate priorities, project timelines and/or business case assumptions to ensure we provide the best in class customer experience and cost benefits to TELUS
Develop scenario based capacity plans and make recommendations to the BCX leadership team teams
Investigating, analyzing and making recommendations based on benchmarking exercises and support implement best practices across business unit.
Build and maintain relationships to coordinate effective delivery, this may include communication to business partners and/or SOW review.
Lead with the transformation and implementation of change on an end-to-end basis.
Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members within and across group.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge:
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of capacity planning methodologies, business analytics and process methodology
Required Skills & Abilities:
Thinks “out of the box” and encourages others to do so.
Highly developed personal planning and organizational skills; negotiating, initiating, planning and organizing activities simultaneously with a project as well as with multiple projects in parallel.
Professional demeanor and confident leadership style; able to interact effectively with individuals across all levels of TELUS
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to share / transfer information to convey needs and strategic direction at various levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to effectively set priorities, meet deliverables and work with minimal supervision.
Communication skills (including written, verbal, presentation & facilitation).
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
Technical/business Post-secondary diploma with a complementary business experience or a University Business Degree
