The Frames team performs various tasks related to provisioning voice and data orders by running and terminating jumpers. In this position, you can work from multiple central offices around the Lower Mainland and receive varying shift schedules between 7am – 5pm Monday to Saturday based on business requirements.

Please note: These are temporary on-going opportunities; however, training will likely be full-time for the first 4 weeks.

Physically run jumpers in a Frame, remote or SAC box

Assist technicians with queries and troubles

Provision voice and data service orders related to rack work


Utilize several systems to obtain order information, verify records and process order information

Results or Outcomes:
Requests are completed accurately and within timelines

Frames are maintained to prevent interruption of service to customers

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Clean & valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License or other provincial equivalent. (Driver’s License and a Driver’s Abstract will be requested as proof)

Minimum high school diploma with Math 11 completion or equivalent. (Transcripts and/or diplomas will be requested as proof)

Knowledge of the provisioning process is an asset

Must follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations

Must be willing to work a variety of shifts Monday to Saturday between 7AM – 7PM

Must have mechanical ability

Must possess Personal Computer navigational skills

Demonstrated professional oral and written communications skills

Fluent in English

Self-motivated, work well with minimal or no direct supervision

Ability to effectively handle both favourable and unfavourable customer interactions

Demonstrated ability to identify problems and situations, take appropriate action, implement solutions or escalate as required

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaboratively with other departments

Maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced changing environment

Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing to meet scheduled deadlines

Attention to detail

Must meet applicable testing requirements

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
Related post secondary education in telecommunication or relevant field would be an asset
