As part of the Group Benefits, Operations Support – Customer Care Activities, the incumbent plays an active role in meeting division objectives by providing operational, administrative and technical support for the administration and health and dental benefits management, while ensuring standards for the quality and timeliness of service are met.

Control and manage documents by handling, preparing and distributing mail, and filing documents according to the appropriate archiving practices

Perform document management duties; apply document storage policies and follow the respective schedules

Record claims in accordance with quality and timeliness standards

Draft written communications in view to obtaining missing claims information

Provide services to Customer Care operational sectors with regard to special requests, information about the recording of claims, and document/file search and recovery

Take part in continuous improvement initiatives / action plans to raise service levels and quality standards

Identify and report weaknesses

Apply financial and operational controls to mitigate risks

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies


Required Skills & Abilities:
Good command of French and English, both spoken and written

Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)

Basic knowledge of group insurance products

Knowledge of document storage and communication protocols

Demonstrate integrity


Effective communicator

Strong learning skills

Ability to adapt/flexibility

Solid time-management skills

Required Professional Designation/Certification”

College diploma in business administration

Required Experience:
Minimum one year of experience in an office environment
