You will be working in an inbound customer contact centre dedicated to service order provisioning.

Service orders must be initiated and processed accurately; monitored to ensure timely delivery according to established protocol; and account information is current and accurate with billing discrepancies resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Service Order Coordination and Provisioning

Review requests from client and/or sales for telecom products and services; review, identify and follow-up on incomplete service orders and/or requirements with others.

Coordinate the end to end provisioning of service orders

.

Prepare process and/or update service orders for the provisioning of service and initiate billing; monitor and follow up with orders on due dates in jeopardy; update account related documentation and initiate correspondence accordingly.

Communication

Liaise with external customers to discuss and/or explain details related to service order provisioning and billing discrepancies.

Respond to customer queries/requests.

Billing Support

Respond to client billing queries; analyze, investigate and explain discrepancies and variances.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Aptitude for problem analysis.

Working knowledge of voice and data/IP products and services.

Working knowledge of service order provisioning and related systems.

Knowledge of the communications industry.

Successful experience in a customer service environment.

Demonstrated business acumen.

Working knowledge of Personal Computer business software and/or corporate systems.

Familiarity with TELUS products and services.

Aptitude for customer service.

Must possess keyboarding skills.

Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to effectively compile information, analyze data and make sound judgments.

Must possess Personal Computer navigational skills.

Demonstrated professional oral and written communications skills.

Fluent in English.

Self-motivated, work well with minimal or no direct supervision.

Ability to effectively handle both favourable and unfavourable customer interactions.

Demonstrated ability to identify problems and situations, take appropriate action, implement solutions or escalate as required.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaboratively with other departments.

Maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced changing environment.

Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing to meet scheduled deadlines.

Commit to continuous learning. Demonstrate the ability to learn and apply learned skills to related situations and complete and pass all related exams.

Must meet applicable testing requirements.

Required Knowledge:
Working knowledge of voice and data/IP products and services.

Working knowledge of personal computer business software and or/corporate systems.

Working knowledge of service order provisioning and related systems.
