Business Analyst II (Wireline Capacity Planning)

Successful candidate reports to the Manager of Business Analysis within the Client Experience Command Centre. Role is responsible for the overall management and creation of workforce management forecasts, models, and schedule creation within the call centre environment.

  • Provide analysis and guidance in regards to call centre operational metric results and findings
  • Ability to analyze data and at a high level, and communicate findings and strategy to the Client Experience Senior Leadership Team

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and experience in a workforce management environment
  • Strong knowledge of call centre metrics

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to present information at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical abilities to provide develop strategies based on historical and current data
  • Strategic thinker
  • Advanced Microsoft Office ability (especially MS Excel)
  • Proven ability to manage people and processes
  • Demonstrated management leadership skills – ability to build high performance teams, motivate and influence employees to exceed performance initiatives, and possess an understanding of the business and financial elements of a large operation
  • Demonstrated ability to work with peers in a cross-functional setting
  • Highly motivated, creative, self-sufficient with ability to work successfully under pressure

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Post-secondary degree in business management, finance or a related field preferred
  • Training and certification with forecasting/scheduling and related software packages

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years workforce management experience
  • Experience with new builds/restructures
  • Experience working in fast-paced, continually changing environments
