Reporting to the Manager, Inforce Service and Client Experience, the Inforce Services Officer (ICM)

works closely with TDWISI sales channels, Estate Planning Advisors and Relationship Managers, to administer insurance policies to ensure high level maintenance.

In addition they act as a liaison between the sales force and the various product providers to ensure compliance with Insurance Industry and Bank legislation to protect the interest of the clients during the life of the policy.

Performing preliminary policy reviews for the transferring in of policies outside TDWISI the Inforce Services Officer helps to ensure AML and TD Regulatory compliance.

Communicating policy information to all relevant Relationship Managers and Estate Planning Advisors, capturing such information on a centralized data base system for auditing purposes.

The Inforce Services Officer has strong third party insurance product knowledge.

Job Requirements

·

Assess and analyze requests for transfer in of policies to ensure suitability to client and to our business.

·

Ensure AML compliance and escalate issues as required through the review of the NPOF.

·

Assist in risk mitigation by identifying and escalating key areas of concern eg. Performance, suitability, extra-provincial licensing issues for compliance purposes.

·

Responsibility for the verification and relevance of all Advisor licensing to remain compliant with FSCO requirements.

·

Provide comprehensive support to the EPA sales offices and Relationship Managers nationally in the daily administration of documents sent to and received from the Insurance Carriers with which TDWISI does business.

·

Process all incoming inforce documentation in a timely manner prioritizing and managing work load to meet SLA requirements for service, productivity and enhanced client experience.

·

Identify and escalate as needed cases where special attention is required by the NSO, the EPAs office or the Relationship Managers office.

·

Manage the input of information on Wealthserv and other Operations internal systems in a consistent, clear and accurate manner. Creating accounts, checking and updating information etc.

·

Provide carrier access for new advisors.

·

Produce and update volume matrix and workflow reporting for Management.

·

Manage all Inforce Client Policy Service, including but not limited to:

o

Distribution and documentation of inforce client policy statements, premium and lapse notifications ensuring any risks to the client are addressed by the EPA or Servicing Advisor office thereby supporting the file requirement audit process for inforce service work.

Additional Information

Experience/ Accreditation Requirements:

Strong oral and written communications skills coupled with excellent customer service skills are essential.

Strong knowledge of TDWISI business requirements and how it relates to third parties

Ability to communicate effectively with end user clients during service calls and provide resolutions to problems.
