Looking for an opportunity to learn? We currently have a Branch Manager Trainee position available. This is a unique opportunity to join TD Canada Trust. You will be provided with the opportunity to learn all aspects of this challenging position. From understanding the process of coaching and developing employees to improving business results, you will be provided with an opportunity to put your previous sales and service experience to work. You will mentor with an existing Branch Manager to understand the accountabilities of the position, as well, take an active role in select performance objectives to assist in improving the branch’s overall business results. Flexibility is required to work within an extended hours operation.

Job Requirements
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are self starters, quick learners and are recognized as leaders within their field. Ideal candidates should have a university degree or community college diploma and a minimum of five years work experience in a retail or financial services environment. A minimum 3 – 5 years of people management experience is an asset and Retail branch banking experience is preferred. You must enjoy a fast paced working environment, have the ability to adapt to changing environments during the training process, and have experience building profitable lasting relationships with new and existing customers. Candidates should have their mutual funds license and be working toward the Branch Compliance Officer course. Commitment to completing the training program is required and mobility within the district/region is an asset.

Mobility throughout the North Atlantic District is a requirement of the position.

Additional Information
It is understood that you will have flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required on a rotational basis as part of the branch team.
