Role:
Reporting to theWarehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the schedulingand supervision of night warehouse associates. Effort will be focused onachieving OpCo productivity objectives while ensuring a safe workingenvironment.

Responsibilities:The successful candidatewill :
Supervisewarehouse distribution personnel in aspects of order selection, loading andshipping, replenishment, receiving, put away and/or stock rotation.
Effectivelyschedule warehouse personnel to achieve productivity objectives within thewarehouse.
Provideon-going coaching, training and motivation of new and existing employees toassist them in consistently meeting company productivity and customer servicestandards.
Provideleadership and compliance on company safety programs, sanitation and lossprevention direction to warehouse associates.
Monitorthe physical conditions and handling practices to ensure all products arestored and shipped within the specified temperature requirements and in peakcondition.
Workclosely with Inventory Control personnel to identify inventory problems,correct errors and maintain the accuracy of the perpetual inventory.
Conductperformance management, discipline and termination of all direct reports inconjunction with the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications:
Minimum2 years of supervisory experience in a similar capacity.
Supervisoryexperience in a union environment is an asset.
Completionof a related post-secondary certificate or diploma is desired.
Thoroughknowledge of industry practices, government legislation and standards.
Excellentcommunication skills both verbal and written.
Leadershipand time management skills.
Responsibleand accountable for appropriately managing confidential information.
PCskills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Superiorability to build relationships and affect positive change.
AS400/EXEknowledge would be an asset.
