Role: Customer Service Specialist – Part-time (Various dayshiftsincluding weekends)
As afront-line service provider to Sysco’s customers you contribute to our successby providing high quality service by processing customer’s orders on ascheduled basis and troubleshooting customers’ concerns with regards to theirorders and deliveries. You will provideinformation to our customers regarding Sysco products and services to ensurecustomer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:The successful candidatewill :
Responsiblefor identifying problems and or concerns from customers and the ability tocommunicate effectively to solve them
Keyin same day deliveries, fill out appropriate forms, and get signatures for samedays, past cutoff orders, etc.
Inputorders accurately into the computer system
Editdirect orders. When an order is sentover by a customer, notify the MA / supervisor of any shortages at time ofsending, and notify the customer of automatic substitutes at time ofsending.
Informcustomers as soon as possible of shortages on their orders. Inform MA / supervisor of warehouseshortages.
Provideproduct information directly to customers.
Assistcustomers with the process of pickups and credit of product needing to bereturned
Coordinatethe process of special order items
Communicatewith various departments to ensure customer service.
Variousclerical duties relating to the sales desk, such as mailing, faxing,photocopying, promotional events tracking, etc. Provide assistance to othermembers of the sales desk team

Highschool diploma is required
1-2years work experience, preferably in a service, call center, or food serviceenvironment
PCSkills (Microsoft Office suite, keyboarding, etc.), including the ability totype and talk at the same time
Superiorcommunication skills, both oral and written
Basicmath and reading comprehension
