Looking to get your design career started? Like the energy and pace of a startup? SweetIQ has an opening for a paid Graphic Design Intern that might be up your alley. You’ll work with and learn from our Lead Designer, but you’ll also have your own projects to deliver on a regular basis.

We hire good people who like working with other good people and, quite simply, love what they do. We like discussing design and encourage creative lines of thinking. This position is part-time and flexible to start, but we’re hoping to find a rookie designer who can develop into a full-time member of our team.

Here’s what you will be doing:
Working with our a Senior UX Designer to deliver design projects for marketing

Producing design elements for social media, our website, blog, and printed materials using Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and PS)

Creating sketches, outlines, thumbnails prior to finished products, as part of a design process

Collaborating with team leads in marketing to solve communications challenges with interesting, engaging visuals

Making sure everything you deliver sticks to our design guidelines and meets our shared high standards

The person we hire will look a lot like this:
Finishing or just finished a design program (CEGEP or University)

Eager to learn from a senior designer

Ready to contribute as a junior designer

Mad Adobe Creative Cloud skills

No on the job experience necessary
