Additional HR, Payroll, Safety & Office projects as assigned. Responsible for day to day office administration tasks, including HR & Payroll….

Responsible for day to day office administration tasks, including HR & Payroll. This role will be an important member of the front office team and facilitate many important business processes in our Point Leamington, NL plant. Job duties include:

  • Administrative duties – reception, filing, scheduling, phone calls, faxes & emails
  • Assisting with new employee orientations & paperwork
  • Weekly payroll administration
  • Reports for management
  • Maintaining databases & record keeping
  • Help facilitate workplace health & safety
  • Working with our HRIS system
  • Organizing employee events
  • Additional HR, Payroll, Safety & Office projects as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of office administration work
  • 1-2 years of payroll administration work preferred
  • Additional human resources experience is a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of general workplace Health & Safety
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset but is not required
