The food and beverage department are responsible for providing superb guest service in the areas of food preparation and front end guest service whether it be in Masa’s Bar and Grill, Bento’s Cafeteria, Café Soliel, Sunburst Restaurant, Umbrella Café and The Club. Sun Peaks’ nightclub, located in the village core, hosts live music events, DJ dance floor, pool tables – this is the place to meet after a day on the slopes! Under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager, you will receive a fun, interactive and teamwork oriented job experience to jump start your hospitality career.

Your Responsibilities Will Include - Assist bartenders with cleaning, maintaining and organizing bar stations during opening and closing duties as well as throughout shifts
– Keep all areas of the outlet clean and free of glassware to maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere
– Ensure all patrons are of legal drinking age upon arrival and cash handling of entrance fees
– Maintaining safety of staff and patrons by consistently communicating with security staff and the supervisor with any concerns involving the staff or guests
– Report all unsafe conditions to supervisor or manager and preparation of incident reports Ideal Candidates - Must be legal drinking age
– Serving it Right certification
– Cash handling skills
– Knowledge of local regulations, policies and laws as per the outlet’s liquor license
– Extremely organized and the ability to prioritize under high demand work loads
– Ability to work as a team player as well as independently under minimal supervision
– First Aid training is an asset
– Security License is an asset
