Position: Compliance Representative

Job Type: Part time, Contract

Program Dates: Oct 9 – Nov 10

Hourly Wage/ Pay Structure: $17/hour + 0.48/km for mileage (restrictions apply)

Locations: Various regions across Prince Edward Island – Charlottetown, Montague, O’Leary, Summerside

The Opportunity

In fall 2018, Summerhill will be delivering efficiencyPEI’s Instant Energy Savings program. This program will be offering rebates to residential customers in Prince Edward Island on eligible energy efficient products at retail stores.

We are seeking outgoing, energetic and detailed oriented individuals to join our team as Compliance Representatives to support the Instant Energy Savings Program in PEI. Summerhill is dedicated to developing, implementing and managing market transformation programs that lead to improvements in energy savings and the energy efficiency of households all across the province and we can’t do it without you.

Successful Compliance Representatives will ensure store signage and marketing materials are properly displayed throughout the duration of the campaign.

What Will You Do?

  • Travel to designated retailers locations to ensure retailers are compliant with program specifications
  • Check signage, display and rebate process
  • Notify retailers of necessary changes to ensure program and client needs are met
  • Revisit incompliant retailers to ensure compliance
  • Submit retailer compliance reporting to supervisor in a timely fashion
  • Attend Customer Engagement Events and support the Brand Ambassadors
  • Attend paid training

Additional Details:

Working Conditions

  • Move materials weighing up to 20lbs, during store visits
  • Must be able to receive marketing materials (at in person training), maintain materials throughout the campaign

Shift Times

Compliance Representatives are required to visit all customer engagement events in their region during the first weekend of the events for a max half an hour with the Event Representative (event times may vary). The other required compliance checks can be completed at the Compliance Representatives discretion on either weekdays or weekends*. Hours of work will vary throughout the campaign with the highest number of hours to be completed in the first week or two depending on assigned store locations.

*On occasion Retailers may make specific visit requests to the Compliance Representatives to deliver marketing materials or assist with a specific request, in these instances Compliance Representatives will be required to visit the store location at the time specified by the retailer.

Mandatory Training Schedule

Paid online training - Week of October 8th

Paid in-person training – October 11th: 10:00AM – 2:00PM (Charlottetown)
