Stonerise Construction Inc., a division of Auburn Group of Companies is a progressive real estate development company based out of London, Ontario with a proven track record of success and a substantial future ahead. Current projects, all located in Southwestern Ontario, range from $2 million to >$50 million and include residential high rise, mid-rise and mixed use developments.
Position SummaryReporting to the Construction Manager, the project manager will be responsible for all phases of the construction management process, including the overall direction, administration, completion and financial outcome of assigned construction project. The Project Manager will successfully oversee the renovation of a commercial building and other related construction personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget.

Responsibilities include and not limited to:

  • BUDGET: Manage project budget and prepare regular updates
  • SCHEDULE: Plan and schedule project timelines; track deliverables, monitor progress and prepare regular updates
  • QUALITY: Implement procedures and controls
  • CONSTRUCTABILITY: Build “issues” documentation when necessary
  • CONTRACT PREPARATION: Subcontract and change order negotiation and preparation for supplies and labour
  • Liaise between owner, consultants and subcontractors
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Approve all vendor invoices and monthly pay application
  • Project commissioning and close out of all contracts and purchases

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of GC experience in a similar role
  • Completion of a minimum 2 year college level construction program
  • Experience in managing all construction operations and trades in a commercial construction work environment
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
  • Proven experience in people, strategic, risk and change management
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $75,000.00 /year
