Business Intelligence Analyst. If you love working in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment, and have a strong business analysis and IT background, then we…

At Steeped Tea, we’re empowering others to realize their dream of starting a business, all while sharing a cup of tea. What was started by one couple 10 years ago has moved to Dragon’s Den and beyond and has become one of Canada’s fastest growing companies and a rapidly growing US business. We want you to join us in spreading our love of fantastic tea across the North America.

We are looking for a new Business Intelligence Analyst to provide strategic and tactical insight to support our sales, marketing, operations and financial decisions.

Business Intelligence Analyst

As our new Business Intelligence Analyst, your main goal will be to develop a full understanding of the scope of the business, and provide sound analytical advice that informs our short and long term goals. We want someone who is a critical thinker, and has an aptitude for strategic vision. You can sift through reams of information to find patterns that others have missed, and have great intuitive business sense allowing you to understand what is relevant to your analysis and what is not.

You are also an exceptionally strong communicator, with the ability to effectively communicate your findings to non-experts. You have a strong customer-service orientation, and love helping the people you support understand your findings.

You have a strong IT software background, with significant experience using Google Analytics, SQL, and Microsoft Excel, allowing you to work cross-functionally without the need for a lot of support.

Working for Steeped Tea means you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a stable business that still has a start-up mentality and capacity for rapid change. If you love working in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment, and have a strong business analysis and IT background, then we want to hear from you.

  • Implement new, or improve existing, data structures and/or associated business processes to enable insightful and reliable data creation for management reporting *
  • Design, develop and publish standard data dictionary reports, as well as data management documentation for communication and education

Requirements: Specifically, we need someone with the following skills:
