Under the direction of the Account Manager, performs daily maintenance of accounting books and records of Mutual funds, Pooled Funds, Pension Plans, Not for Profit accounts and Endowment accounts in conformity with Company policy as well as the rules, regulations and tax laws that apply.

Job Duties :
Calculates the Net Asset Value per share assigned.
Processes dividend and distribution rates, as required.
Processes income and expense accrual. Enters and monitors general ledger or daily account activity.
Reconciles fund share transactions; resolution of discrepancies with transfer agent’s and custodian’s records, if applicable.
Reviews accuracy accounts for all daily activity (purchases, sales, income accruals, expenses, etc.) in a timely manner, and maintains all required controls to ensure overall accuracy.
Completes ledger to subledger reconciliation daily.
Produces and verifies daily NAV reporting, and month end reports
Maintains monthly supporting schedules for all outstanding items, as well as other records required for fund audits, as required. Prepares monthly accounting control reports reconciliation if required.
Provides information needed to prepare financial reports for shareholder, director and management reports, in an accurate and timely manner if required.
Prepares proofs of account balances as needed.
Reviews security pricing, corporate actions with all fund activity for reasonableness. Researches exceptions.
Resolves alerts; prepares final NAV for corporate actions.
Remains familiar with back-up procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise.
May be required to communicate with external/internal clients daily.
May perform other duties as requested.


Bachelor’s degree with business related coursework or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Custody/fund accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge of financial securities language preferred
Knowledge of MS Office applications and spreadsheet proficiency
Good organizational skills & ability to prioritize assignments under tight deadlines
Attention to detail
Good interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
Ability to work as a team player
