Humanities101 offers an exploration of the Humanities for low-income, non-traditional adult learners who face material and non-material barriers to accessing post-secondary education.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily administrative management of the program including marketing, recruiting, interviewing and selecting students; handling Humanities 101 inquiries, managing program registration, student supplies, transit tickets, childcare remuneration and student attendance; organising graduation; managing program expenses; supporting the lead instructor in preparation of course material and events. The position reports to the Vice-President Academic & Dean and works closely with the Faculty on program development, planning and implementation. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for training and coordinating volunteer tutors and liaising with the instructor to support students.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A University Degree, preferably in the Humanities. Strong administrative and management skills, as well as practical people skills. Experience in agency programming, adult learning or community work is an asset.
