St. Joseph’s Hospital/Foyer d’Youville is an accredited rural healthcare organization encompassing 9 Acute Care Beds, 50 LTC beds & 24 hour emergency medical services. Located Southwest of Moose Jaw, the organization serves approximately 8,000 people in Southwestern Saskatchewan. The organization is owned by the Catholic Health Ministry of Saskatchewan & operates in accordance with the Catholic moral code approved by the Conference of Catholic Bishops.

It is affiliated with the Five Hills Health Region. Reporting to the organization’s Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the management and administration of all the organization’s activities including administrative responsibility for the St. Joseph’s Hospital/Foyer d’Youville Foundation Inc. A close working relationship is required with physicians, staff, Catholic Health Ministry of Saskatchewan and Five Hills Health Region.

The successful candidate shall possess a combination of relevant educational preparation along with a demonstrated track record of administrative experience, including budgeting & operations experience. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership & interpersonal skills, adaptability and be proactive in creative problem solving and decision making. As a driving force for quality improvement a working knowledge of LEAN principles would be an asset. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate and work effectively with both internal and external constituencies including experience working with Governing Boards.
