Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum of two years recent experience in the care of the elderly and/or younger physically challenged adults
Certification or refresher in C.P.R., within the last year
Recent experience and successful completion of the Drug Administration Course
Recent experience with catheter injections, irrigations, sub q and IM injections, and G-tube care maintenance
Understanding of and recent and relevant experience in use of asepsis
Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, organization, and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
A criminal reference check completed within the last six (6) months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), inclusive of vulnerable sector screening, will be required of the successful candidate
