Our East Vancouver campus is recruiting for a dynamic individual to instruct our Special Education Teaching Assistant program. You must have a certificate or diploma related to the field of study. A minimum of 3 years’ full-time occupational experience or 5 years’ demonstrated experience in the field of study is required. Experience working with various ages from young children to adolescents in a learning environment (public and/or private). Ability to maintain relationships with community educators for the purpose or arranging & overseeing practicum placements and field trip/guest speaker opportunities. Understanding of child and youth mental health and supporting at-risk youth. Teaching degree or demonstrated experience in preferred.
