DEPLOYMENT AREA: CALGARY (SOUTHERN, CENTRAL, NORTHERN ALBERTA & BC)

*IMPORTANT: Applicants MUST have regular member (not auxiliary or part time) experience as a Police Officer, Sheriff, Fish & Wildlife, CVE, Correctional Peace Officer or Level 1 Community Peace Officer (in an enforcement role), Paramedic or as a regular member or reserve member of the Canadian Forces to apply. Police and/or Peace Officer service and experience must be with a Canadian, US or UK government law enforcement agency and proof of service in good standing will be required.

We are accepting applications from qualified protection and law enforcement professionals to join our Tactical Security (Critical Incident Response Team) Division.

RATE OF PAY:

The rate of pay is based on experience and training, duties, deployment/assignment location and risk levels.

ROLE:

The role of the CIRT is to provide high-profile security deployments to protect critical infrastructure, safeguard our client’s executives, personnel and key assets, and to respond to protests, disasters and civil unrest. We operate with a mandate of achieving our objectives through effective communication, professionalism combined with relevant and effective responses to resolve security challenges.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

• Valid Alberta Private Investigator License AND Security License (DUAL)
• Verifiable law enforcement or military experience with a Canadian, US or UK agency
• Physically fit to a police/military standard and capable of performing all security duties
• Clean cut and professional in both conduct and appearance
• Canadian citizen or proven lawful entitlement to work in Canada
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Criminal Code and Civil Law
• Ability to work for long call-outs and as needed for any shifts (response)
• No history of criminal convictions, criminal affiliations or involvement with any groups involved in riots, protests or civil unrest (you must be able to pass a background investigation)
• Applicants must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

ADDITIONAL ASSETS:

• Executive Protection Specialist (Certified) Training/Experience
• Crowd Management (Public Order) or Emergency Management Unit Experience
• ERT or TACTICAL Unit Experience
• Specialized Unit: Surveillance, Anti-Crime, Intelligence or Anti-Terrorism Experience/Training
• Certified in First Aid and CPR
• Combatives or Martial Arts Training
• Arrest Control Tactics Qualified
• Specialized Driver Training
