Procurement and Supply Chain Project Manager Closes October 29 th at 12pm

Location: Greater Vancouver

This role requires the Project Manager to provision services to complete the procurement initiatives with strict timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and creation of the team(s) necessary to suprot the initative(s)
  
• Support internal stakeholder in determining, refining and establishing service bundles, business outcomes and requirements for procurement prurposes
  
• Liaise with Health Authorities stakeholders to identify the business and technology requirements to be included in competitive bid processes
  
• Create a procurement plan for each required individual procurement, including the identification of the related innovative procurement processes to ensure selection fo the best service provider in the least amount of time
  
• Create a detailed work plan identifying internal and external resource requirements and timelines (particularly for any interdependent procurement initiatives)
  
• Production of initial drafts of competitive bid documents based on templates, including content, response requirements and supporting evaluation material, schedules to the contracts, and reviewing and providing input to the anticipated contracts
  
• Support Supply Chain in overseeing and managing the procurement process, including particpation in the creation of supporting economic models, preparation of briefing notes and other materials for executive review and approval and working closely with stakeholders as may be required to establish consensus
  
• Support to Supply Chain during the due diligence and contract negotiations with the preferred proponents
  
• Be responsive to changing circumstances and demands, and fullfill such demands as may be required to the extent they are within the capability and capacity of the Consultant

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 7 years of recent related experience in a complex healthcare or public sector supply chain environement with a strong preference to individuals who have experience producing and delivering innovative procureents for high value, complex, technology related procurement initiatives
  
• Extensive experience developing procurement documentation such as competitive and non-competitive bid documentation and contracts ; and issuing, evaluating and awarding contracts
  
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills – understand how to communicate complex, difficult and sometimes sensitive informaiton tactfully
  
• Capable of working with senior executive stakeholders to define requirements
  
• Capable of leading or participating in the evalution process
  
• Must possess the ability to work under minimum supervision whilst also being a team player and managine a team. The candidate will need to be proactive, with an ability to excel under tight timelines
  
• Demonstrable understanding of procuremjent best practices, contract negotiations and contract law is preferred
  
• Exceptional attention to detial
  
• Must be able to to commit on an uninterrupted basis to the end dat of this engagement in a near full time capacity

Start: Immediately

Duration: 24 months
