Overall Objective

• To create a safe, clean & welcoming environment for all facility guests.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Host the various community and ministry groups that utilize our facility
• Ensure that our facility is a welcoming environment for all guests, being a public relations ambassador to our guests
• Ensure that building cleanliness meets expectations at all times
• Complete building maintenance tasks as assigned
• Ensure security of facility and our guests
• Event set-up and tear down (occurs daily, small up to 800 person large events)
• Switch over flooring (involves bending to roll out carpeting, carrying carpet rolls 100lbs+)
• Complete other tasks as assigned by Office Administrator or Lead Pastor

Requirements

• Available to work evenings and weekends
• Excellent communication & hospitality skills
• Maintenance & Janitorial experience an asset
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and along with a team
• Physically able to haul table & chairs and lifting up to 100 lbs in a continuous motion
• Ability to do stairs multiple times per shift, sometimes carrying up to 50lbs
• Knowledge of scissor lift operation an asset
• Teachable
• Must provide a clear criminal record check
• Have reliable transportation
• Minimum 16 years of age
• Available to start by August 3rd, 2018
• Able to work August 5th-19th
