Soul Float is Calgary’s newest float therapy studio located in West Market Square in the city’s west end. Float therapy is a remarkable way to achieve profound relaxation, rejuvenation, mental clarity and spiritual well-being. Floating regularly helps create amazing balance between the body, mind and soul. This is achieved by resting in a unique environment free from distractions and sensory stimulation

We are looking for a team to help us deliver this amazing service. If you’re passionate about health and wellness and interesting in being part of a new concept that’s taking Calgary by storm, then please apply.

Wage: $13 to $15 per hour

This is a multi-purpose role with two main parts.

Reception

  • Welcoming guests as they arrive for their float therapy session, providing first-time floaters with an orientation and having all floaters complete a waiver
  • Starting, ending and resetting the float therapy sessions through our control system
  • Receiving guests after their float to offer retail items, schedule their next session and sell memberships and packages
  • Working with the MindBody software application to take payment, schedule floats, and manage point-of-sale items
  • Stocking and managing retail items
  • Sending reminder emails, calls and text messages
  • Preparing and cleaning the float rooms between each session
  • Stocking supplies like soaps, shampoos, towels, papers, lotions, etc
  • Washing towels and other linens throughout the day
  • Keeping the studio in top working order to ensure customers have the most amazing experience

Marketing

  • Building, running and monitoring social media channels and campaigns
  • Taking photos of customers after their float to share on social media
  • Coming up with new promotion ideas and executing them
  • Managing the exterior signage
  • Writing blogs and other social media posts on a regular basis
  • Networking with other business to cross-promote our studio with their customers

Requirements

  • First and foremost is excellent customer service. Our customers deserve the most amazing experience from the moment they walk in until the final goodbye. You’ll be required to make them feel welcome, comfortable, safe and excited to come back again.
  • Excellent understanding of social media
  • Ability to follow routine. This service is highly regimented, so it’s important to follow a strict timeline of duties
  • Pride in cleanliness. The studio needs to remain impeccably clean.
  • Strong computer skills. You’ll operate the equipment through computer software. Also, our booking software and point-of-sale system is all done using Cloud Services.
  • 1-year experience in customer service roles
