We are a leading privately owned spa in the Niagara region located in a beautiful luxury boutique hotel. We pride ourselves in providing an amazing experience for all of our clients. We are seeking an experienced professional specialising in management within the spa and / or hospitality industry to help lead and grow our business to new heights. The ideal candidate will be highly detail and results oriented with an avid knack for numbers, budgeting and forecasting. The will also be skilled in marketing and sales. They are strong leaders that know how to build a team in a positive work environment while ensuring, adherence to company protocol and holding people accountable. This individual will be loyal with an impeccable work ethic and a flexible schedule.

Execute duties listed below in an efficient, timely manner and according to company policies, procedures and standards. To provide leadership and direction for our first class Spa. Ensure that our valuable Spa Guests are treated and regarded as our first priority at all times. Understand the importance of and promote the Company’s Mission, Vision & Values, concurrently completing tasks as assigned and according to Company’s policy and procedures in order to achieve company goals. To assist in facilitating a positive and healthy work environment for clients and staff while creating and maintaining a profitable business operation.


  • Motivate and inspire staff, be creative with new ways to ensure principles of a fair and quality team are maintained and enhanced.
  • Recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and be the leader in training, and managing all team members for the Spa up to and including discipline and termination.
  • Purchasing of retail merchandise, back bar product and all items necessary for efficient operations and within budget.
  • Establish and enforce retail sales targets
  • Establish and maintain active retail sales programs.
  • Ensure care and maintenance of the physical facility.
  • Maintain company standards in accordance with the policies and procedures manual.
  • Expectation of overseeing operations on an as needed basis with a minimum of 40-44 Hours per week required on site. Attendance during staff shortages or exceptional circumstances as required.
  • Conduct Daily Huddles / Team Meetings
  • Track performance and set goals on a daily basis


  • Keep Spa protocols up to date and efficient.
  • Conduct and/or participate in ongoing staff training’s to ensure continuous skills improvement of the team.
  • Ensure all staff are following treatment and service protocols and that all services and treatments are being performed to top quality standard
  • Maintain and manage overall flow of the operations of the Spa.
  • Ensure continual guest satisfaction


  • Operate the front desk in order to ensure ideal workflow, customer service and revenue generation
  • Oversee monthly inventory counts and control procedures
  • Staff Scheduling.



  • Facilitate the implementation of any and all promotions, cross promotions, monthly specials etc.
  • Manage customer database to ensure integrity of information and that all clients are up to date.


  • Responsible for keeping all costs in line with the operations
  • Identify and immediately correct any operational shortcomings
  • Control Labor, Product costs, Marketing, and any Operational Costs
  • Create and ensure adherence to Monthly Budgets
  • Establish Monthly, Weekly, Daily and Hourly Goals
  • Conduct monthly Retail Reports and Profit and Loss statements
  • Meet with owners to review Profit & Loss statement and take necessary action steps following this review.
  • Create daily, weekly and monthly sales goals.


  • At least 5 years management experience (preferably in the spa or hospitality industry)
  • Spa Experience a strong asset
  • A strong background in product sales
  • A strong background in Marketing, Promotion and Sales
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule; days, evenings and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be prepared to provide a minimum of 5 personal and professional references


  • Compensation will be commensurate with the competencies and experience brought by the candidate.
  • Compensation will include a base salary plus a quarterly incentive bonus potential to be mutually established by owner and the ideal candidate after the probation period is completed.
