Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently within timeframes and deadlines.

Strong initiative with attention to detail and focus on customer service.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs: Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.

Technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development, and user support.

Keen interest in business and process management.

Prior experience working on SAP and BW will be an asset.

Programming experience on Microsoft office development platforms such as Visual Basic, Access and SQL Server will be an asset.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

Work directly with IT Technical Support Coordinator on ongoing and special projects

Act as department representative when required; taking on required tasks and duties during Coordinator’s absence ( vacation relief, business trips, etc. )

Inside/Outside office support including

Senior Management

Inside/Outside Sales

Marketing & Advertising and

other office staff as required

Frontline customer service and support which includes managing customer profiles, answering customer inquiries and providing problem resolution and acting as liaison with Macdonalds Food Fare group

Monitoring and maintenance of ordering systems in a hybrid mainframe and web-based environment

Creation and maintenance of online customer-based content uploaded to a dial-in PC or the Macdonalds Consolidated document management website such as order guides, catalogue updates, weekly specials, bulletins, etc.

Management of Handheld Ordering Device program including stock maintenance, assignments, support and billing

Management of in-house printing program which produces weekly flyers, bulletins and order guides

Administrator and Liaison for Credit System; maintaining the application and offering support and trouble shooting for the claims clerks. Duties also includes the development of financial reports for period and quarter-end analysis

Management of National Rebate Program which includes the maintenance and development of financial reports for period and quarter-end analysis submitted to the Sales and Business Managers for review
