We currently have an opportunity for a Solution Centre Analyst to join the Solution Centre within the National Information Technology department located in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. As a Solution Centre Analyst, you will represent the department by providing superior technical support in a timely, efficient manner, while documenting all incoming calls in the tool provided and following through with customer support/request issues.

Please Note: This position requires shift work, including working days, evenings, and night shifts with some weekend and holiday shifts.

What you’ll get to do in this fast paced role:

  • Assist and support team members to achieve technical goals
  • Make recommendations to address problems and to improve service
  • Provide overall improved support with 24-hour, seven day-a-week support for office, store, and retail support centre (RSC) customers.
  • Track incidents through to resolution and follow-up with customers; ensuring satisfaction
  • Coordinate service delivery and quality assurance from our vendors

What your resume will include and demonstrate to us:

  • Post secondary education in the computer field or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of POS systems, Unix and Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to work in a team setting
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to respond to rapidly changing needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 shift schedule (including day, evening and night shifts as well as weekend and holiday shifts)
  • Work experience in an Information Technology, Customer Service, or Computer based role is an asset
  • Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset
