SNC-Lavalin’s Rail and Transit Engineering Group is looking for a co-op student to join the Power Supply & Distribution (PS&D) team in Toronto from September to December
Job Description This role will help the Power Supply & Distribution team.

Responsibilities Assist senior staff with quality assurance tasks on all engineering documents.

Develop documentation to automate interdepartmental coordination.
Prepare/draft design alternatives pertaining to Overhead Catenary Systems and Traction Power Systems
Assist team members with document issuing tasks

Requirements 1st or 2nd year in an Electrical EngineeringPower supply university program
Ability to interpret and apply CSA 22.1 and 22.3 regulations.
Experience in Bentley Microstation design software and/or AutoCAD is an asset
Proficient working with MS Suite software, specially excel
VBA programming experience is an asset
Able to effectively communicate and coordinate with other members of a large team.
Dependable individual and a team player.
Proactive and take self-initiative
Have the ability to handle several tasks at once
Fast learner, with the ability to adapt
Have an interest in transportation engineering / transportation planning, especially mass transit related projects
Previous experience in a Coop role within the mass transitTransportation field is an asset
