Purpose of the position

Reporting to the Team Lead, Regional Marketing, this is an excellent entry-level marketing opportunity. You will be responsible for administrative support of key marketing programs and promotions and event marketing initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the SMART Brand, marketing strategy, and product knowledge
  • Support Marketing Programs Manager with execution of promotions and sales programs via:
  • Data entry
  • Application processing
  • Compiling weekly and monthly reporting
  • Responding to general inquiries from the sales team and reseller channel to promote and clarify programs
  • Data transfer from reports to the CRM system (Salesforce.com) including data cleansing and compilation
  • Execute on lead capture and qualification process prior to turning over to regional sales teams
  • Support Regional Marketing Managers with
  • scheduling, coordination and general support for events, tradeshows, contesting and regional campaigns
  • RFP response packages
  • Support Channel Communications Manager in the execution of channel communications and maintenance of the Partner Portal
  • Create and update digital materials to support the marketing team, including but not limited to landing pages, emails, surveys, sales tools and other collateral.
  • Additional duties as required

Education & Work Experience

  • Graduate of a diploma or degree program in business, marketing or management
  • 1-3 years professional marketing experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign is considered an asset
  • Experience with CRM software, specifically Salesforce.com, is considered an asset
