The Project Coordinator and Operations Assistant provides client-facing communication and correspondence, support for the planning, organization, and execution of projects, as well as internal administrative needs of the company. The Project Coordinator and Operations Assistant will be responsible for actioning work items, responding to client correspondence, managing projects, and conducting research as required among other tasks.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with project team to develop creative and structural concepts for website projects.
  • Develop detailed task lists that project teams use to guide their work.
  • Review development work and provide quality assurance on deliverables.
  • Provide client correspondence via email, phone and occasional in-person meetings.
  • Conduct research and develop procedures as required for streamlining internal company processes.

Essential skills

  • Experience coordinating projects with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience with project management software: (TeamWork PM, Base Camp, or similar application)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Basic understanding of HTML and experience with WordPress or a similar CMS
  • Strong organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Intuitive / savvy computer and software skills (ability to learn-as-you-go new software / applications)
  • Knowledge and experience with social media, including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Passion for digital marketing / design (ie: Photography, video editing, motion graphics)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

What you bring

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in web design, online/digital marketing; or 2+ years relevant experience
  • Focus on getting things done, collaboration with others, and solving problems creatively.
  • Can-do attitude – happy to take on a wide variety of tasks and projects in a fast paced environment

  • Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced creative technology focused company.

What you can expect

  • A part-time contract position, 60-80 hours per month and potential for growth.
  • Shared office space in the heart of Inglewood with access to breakout rooms, kitchen and lunch space.
  • Free coffee, free red bull, free beer (we’re not kidding).
  • Must provide your own Apple laptop (we run exclusively Mac OSx) with a minimum 4GB of ram (ideally 8GB+) and a processor fast enough to run latest Mac OSx version. Laptop must have sufficient hard drive space for ‘work’ user. We supply an external monitor (23”).
  • Hourly rate to commensurate with experience.
  • Position to start October 2016.
