Job Description

In this role, you’d be responsible for managing all aspects of the internal operations for our residential property management company including property administration, fire & life safety, landlord & tenant administration, and customer service departments while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.

What we look for:

  • Extensive experience with (minimum 5 years as a Supervisor) and passion for all aspects of property management (and a sense of humour).
  • Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and Landlord and Tenant Board guidelines and processes – to keep us out of trouble!
  • Able to competently develop, read and understand financial statements.
  • Knowledge of and skilled in supervisory practices and principles –you’ll be leading a pretty awesome internal service department (no pressure).
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, i.e. ESA, OHSA and its regulations, WSIB, Human Rights, etc.
  • Understanding of general office administration and how to implement procedural changes.
  • Proactive with good problem solving skills, judgment and innovation. If you have a crystal ball, that helps too!
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines. We have high expectations for our leaders to meet deliverables.
  • Train and speak in front of large groups of people.
  • Work a flexible schedule and sometimes travel.
