Working under the supervision of the Program Manager and In – School Program Coordinator, the Northern Skills Liaison Officer is responsible for delivering and facilitating a career options presentation to Northern Manitoba students from Grades 6 to 12. The presentation will focus on the opportunities available in skilled trade and technology career areas. The position also includes working with community committees’ in The Pas, Thompson, and Flin Flon to facilitate three young women’s conferences and three Northern Skilled Trades Showcase ( Boys) conferences, Extreme Sledding Competitions, Skilled Trades Olympics, Summer Camp and new programs as they arise.

Required experience:

• Presentation delivery, working with youth, have strong organization and communication skills: 1 year

Required license or certification:

• Must have license and own vehicle
