Responsibilities:

  • Conducting annual inspections on various client systems
  • Testing systems in accordance with various codes and standards
  • Diagnosing technical problems
  • Properly managing the allocation of time for each inspection
  • Drafting rigorous reports and administrative documents
  • Complying with health and safety norms

Qualifications

  • Have one of the following diplomas: DEP, AEC or DEC in electronics or fire-alarm OR relevant experience in the field of fire-alarm
  • Knowledge of the Building Code and ULC fire alarm system standards
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and solve technical problems
  • Good knowledge of French, spoken and written
  • Knowledge of English, an asset
  • Customer focus and team spirit
  • Good computer knowledge, particularly MS-Office
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is mandatory
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours
  • CFAA certification, an asset
