ROLE
The Analyst is in charge of describing the human, cultural, and business context of a mandate. S/he focuses on the product, communication, service, and distribution, as well as the trends related to the targeted sector of activity. His/her observations feed the strategist, account services, and creative teams to articulate various strategies.
TASKS
- Collect and analyse business data (market studies, consumer behaviour, competition analysis, etc.)
- Describe the cultural and human context in which the product/service exists
- Coordinate research projects, as needed
- Summarise information in a comprehensible manner to initiate and support the strategic process
- Suggest strategic solutions to catalyze or create business opportunities

REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
- Understanding of the business world
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferable business, marketing, communications, or cultural studies)
- Academic or professional research experience
- Understanding of research tools and databases
- Interest in forecasting
- Knowledge new media and technology trends
- Multi-disciplinary thinking
- Knowledge of advertising, interactive design, space design, and product design principles
- Ability to produce research reports and give presentations
