MARKETING AND SALES MANAGER 3 MONTHS INTERN JOB POSTING

The Manager will be expected to perform product management activities that include product marketing, positioning, penetration, success metrics, and competitive analysis. This position requires the ability to work under tight deadlines and respond quickly to stakeholder requests. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will be critical to success in this role.this position is a 3 months intern position non paid with strong possibilities of full time position and great benefit package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities range from strategy, to project development and deployment, to ongoing subject matter support rollout and training to the sales and service teams
Execute new project initiatives aligned to participant solutions strategy.
Assist in development of idea proposals based upon business and client analysis.
Develop and present business cases that are supported by strong analysis, aligned with the strategic business and audience direction, are compelling and viable.
Secure cross-business and cross-functional alignment for project readiness and deployment.
Leverage influencing and relationship skills to build consensus around major project development decisions.
Leverage industry knowledge and research to improve the competitiveness of the project offering
Balance strategic, tactical and operational issues while ensuring consistent standards in quality end deliverables.
With a focus on risk management, work with legal and compliance departments to obtain necessary reviews, approvals and support, while ensuring end deliverables meet regulatory requirements.
Collaborate across boundaries: challenge systems, processes and people that block collaboration.
Ability to develop and lead the business: Able to target potential prospects and defining adequate connecting strategies, to conduct proper studies in order to understand customers’ needs, capable of proposing adequate solutions to maximize usage of language learning offerings, and adapting them to customers’ needs. This position is responsible for driving sales of a broad range of publisher products. Key qualities required for this role include a proven track record of successful sales or sales management of high performing sales teams, outstanding communication skills and the ability to work in a complex team environment. This individual will grow the company’s business by exercising strong sales and leadership skills and by leveraging all available resources necessary to be successful.

The individual have to be able to:

  • Attract, lead and retain company’s Marketing and Sales Team. Motivate each individual to reach their full potential and maximize their contribution.
  • Assess the market; develop, drive and maintain an aggressive sales bus

Who we are looking for

  • 8- 10 years IT industry experience with technology sales leadership background
  • Experience in managing sales to mid-market customers both directly and indirectly
  • This role requires a balanced Marketing and sales effort involving sales skills and product knowledge/problem solving and solution skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Influencing and negotiating skills
  • Customer focus and ability to build long lasting customer and partner relationships
  • Consultative selling experience; ability to position solutions at an executive level
  • Self-motivator with the ability to work independently
  • Four year college degree required
  • Travel required

Qualifications

8 or more years in-depth experience in the Sales and Marketing industry.
University Degree or equivalent working experience in a product and/or marketing position
Ability to juggle competing priorities and work under pressure to meet key deadlines
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Creative flair and a track record of implementing innovative solutions
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong financial/mathematical and analytical abilities.
Good organization skills and self-discipline.
Good computer skills (particularly Lotus Notes & MS Office software tools).
Demonstrated ability to lead teams.
Familiarity with E-commerce business, legislation and regulations an asset
