The Challenge: Vice-President, Global Sales

Working in a high-growth environment in our Sherbrooke or Montreal office, you will report directly to the COO and manage all direct and channel sales on a global level. As a key member of the senior executive team, the Vice President, Global Sales will have hands-on sales expertise and will be required to demonstrate strong leadership and operational skills. You will use these skills to develop SherWeb’s business and build sustainable relationships with customers and key industry players. Your mandate will also be heavily focused on cross-functional alignment, prioritization, and strategic planning. You will think strategically while also driving detailed Sales strategy execution and managing team deliverables. And, you will be directly responsible for growing revenue, increasing profits and driving thought leadership in the channel.

You will be asked to:
Provide strong leadership by developing solid relationships with the Partner and Client teamsDrive channel partners and major accounts to support aggressive goals for revenue growthConstantly review and improve the channel system to ensure the required levels of channel capability and quality are being developed and maintained Build and maintain strong relationships with the Marketing team to drive effective marketing programs aimed at driving revenue Build and maintain strong relationships with our Technical and Support teams to make sure we always offer the best solutions to our clients and partners, and that we respond to their needs appropriatelyBe accountable and drive key performance indicators to ensure team members and partners are executing the sales strategyIdentify and build key relationships with partners including service providers, resellers, distributors and other technology partnersBuild a channel plan that includes organizational and functional requirements as well as associated costs, quotas, forecasts and commitmentsDevelop and execute a strategic plan for driving overall sales revenue through new and existing distribution, direct opportunities and indirect channel partnershipsCollaborate and work with executive management to ensure that these plans are an integral part of SherWeb’s corporate business planSuccessfully align the Sales department to reflect changes in the market and to allow the Sales team to be more effectivePrepare and manage sales budgets Ensure a significant presence in the industry through direct involvement in major international industry eventsBe available for frequent travel

You have a background that is similar to this:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a relevant field with proven business development experience in a high-technology environmentMinimum of 10 years of management experience, ideally in a fast-growing SME Perfectly fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)Solid channel sales experience in the IT industryProven track record in managing teams located in several locationsSolid achievements in international business developmentGood knowledge of the Information Technology sectorExperience in the Cloud industry is considered a major asset
