A challenging career opportunity exists with Sherritt International for an Administrative Assistant in Fort Saskatchewan.

Position Profile: Reporting to the Manager, Utilities, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative, analysis and reporting duties to support the Utilities Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering administrative support to Utilities Supervisors as well as running the day-to-day administrative functions of the Utilities Department. Duties for the role will include month end reporting, basic accounting, small contract management, Baan SO reconciliation, procedure updates, ordering and managing supplies, ISO and SMS audits and a variety of other related duties.

Qualifications

Post secondary education in Office Administration and/or a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Proficient computer skills preferably working with; Baan, Crystal Reports and Microsoft Office Software

Ability to interpret data and reconcile cost or man-hour reports

Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills

A team player that has the ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.
