POSITION TITTLE: Guest Service Agent

STATUS: PART TIME

HOURS: Shifts will vary depending on operational requirements to include weekends and holidays.

Duties:

• Work with Front Office Manager to improve the quality and level of service as it is impacted by the Front Office.
• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
• Register guests onto the computer, verify reservation, address and credit information
• Promote the Starwood Preferred Guest program and provide recognition and benefits to all present members
• Check guests in and out
• Accept payment for guest’ accounts both at the time of registration and at check-out.
• Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily.
• Provide accurate currency exchange for guests.
• Answer telephones and guest inquiries
• Make travel arrangements
• Issue key and control entrance of safety deposit boxes
• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required
• One or two years in a public service position
• Good communication skills required
• Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
• Proven ability to Multi-task
• Excellent Organizational Skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated knowledge of hotel property Management system
