This position could be located in Calgary or Vancouver.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leadership Facilitator based in Calgary or Vancouver. Reporting to the HR Manager, Leadership & Talent Development, you will be accountable for the delivery of leadership and talent development initiatives.

Through your innovation, leadership and experience, youll help Shaw become the Canadian benchmark for measuring leadership potential and growing leadership talent.
As a key member of the Talent Management team and a role model for leaders in the business, you will contribute to a strong leadership and learning culture at Shaw. You bring outstanding facilitation skills combined with strong subject matter expertise in leadership and talent development. Your role will initially be focused on roll out and delivery of a new leadership certificate for front line leaders.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class facilitation for a range of leadership development programs including: creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment that pushes leaders outside of their comfort zones; helping leaders connect core leadership concepts to their day-to-day reality at Shaw; and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for leaders across all regions and lines of business
Lead a variety of learning sustainment strategies, including pre-session orientations, post-session coaching and follow up
Engage key business leaders in supporting ongoing learning and development in the workplace through effective coaching, mentoring and guidance
Establish and lead online learning communities to enable sharing of resources, information, mentorship, peer coaching, and development objectives
Support communication and promotion of leadership initiatives across the organization
Providing feedback and regularly review session feedback to support continuous improvement and alignment of core content to business priorities
Contribute to a culture where learning and development is integral and core to our future success at Shaw
Provide input and contribute to the development of additional leadership and talent development initiatives, as required
Provide coaching support to the local Human Resource teams on leadership development initiatives
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a leadership and/or talent development facilitator providing highly experiential, practical learning engagements for a variety of leadership levels (front line to senior leaders)
Comprehensive subject matter expertise in current leadership development practices, models and trends
Minimum of 3 years experience working in a people manager role, with direct accountability for a team of individuals
University degree in an HR/Business related topic, adult education or equivalent; facilitation certification an asset
Practical experience delivering a variety of pre- and post-session learning sustainment strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to energize and mobilize others towards action
Certification as a coach and knowledge of various assessment tools an asset
Willingness to travel within Canada to support session delivery. Travel requirements up to 50%
