The Revenue Optimization Department of Shaw Media has a full-time opening for an Advanced Advertising Research Analyst, located in Toronto. The incumbent will be responsible for providing audience data analysis for next generation advertising (NGA) product strategy in support of advertising sales and internal stakeholders.

Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
• Work with the Director, Advanced Advertising in the extraction of Return Path Viewing Data through the use of BBMA Infosys software
• Work with the Director, Advanced Advertising in the analysis of Return Path Viewing Data through the use of Microsoft excel software
• Work with the Director, Advanced Advertising in the presentation preparation of Return Path Viewing Data through the use of Microsoft PowerPoint software
• Coordinate priorities and timelines with the Emerging opportunities Sales Team
• Coordinate software updates and research priorities with BBM Analytics and other Research providers
• Support innovation across other components of NGA products (eg addressable, programmatic) and incorporate into sales process as applicable

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years experience working in agency, research, or broadcast environment
• Extensive knowledge of BBM Analytics Infosys software
• Extensive knowledge of qualitative research including PMB, and Environics
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work equally well in a team environment or on their own.
• Ability to adjust to the fluctuating demands of today’s business
• Ability to analyze and interpret audience research data in a clear, concise manner, summarizing information for the end user
• Enthusiastic work ethic and proactive approach with the ability to embrace change
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail
• Customer service oriented
