Opportunity

SGI’s Customer Experience team is currently looking for a motivated professional to join its team as a permanent, full-time Supervisor, Customer Insights in Regina.

This position is responsible for managing the corporate Voice of the Customer Program – including the collection, consolidation and analysis of customer feedback – for SGI and its regional operations. The incumbent selects appropriate research methodologies for the design and development of research questionnaires and moderator guides, leading the consolidation and dissemination of research and providing recommendations to business areas. The incumbent manages partnerships with external research vendors.

Key Accountabilities

  • Customer Insights Strategy (Gathers & Applies information, Provides Leadership & Research Methodology for Consumer Research & Decision Making, Oversees Portfolio of Research Projects)
  • Customer Insights Management (Analysis and Compilation of Customer Data, Oversees Research Questionnaires and Makes Recommendations based on Findings, Manages Partnerships with External Research Providers, Maintains the Corporate Voice of the Customer Program).
  • Budget Management (Departmental Budgeting to Achieve Budget Targets, Monitors Spending and Reports Budget Variances, Seeks Improvements to Departmental Operations).
  • People Management (Recruitment, Staffing and Workforce Planning, Establishes & Communicates Performance Goals and Standards, Reviews and Evaluates Employee Performance, Provides Leadership, Coaching, Mentoring and Guidance to Employees, Supports the Training and Development of Employees).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Knowledge of the techniques and practices used in market research and technical/statistical analysis, including voice of customer programs.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Ability to apply marketing concepts and principles to strategic business decisions.
  • Ability to write technical reports (in business terms) and make formal recommendations.

Education & Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or commerce majoring in marketing.
  • Three years experience in marketing research.

Salary:

  • $76,464 – $101,964 annually
