Job Description

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Manager, the Unit is responsible for all functions related to the securities settlement process, including settlement of both physical and book based transactions in various depositories. Focus of job is on settling client’s securities transactions and trade exceptions, taking the necessary steps to resolve all trade discrepancies before the Depository deadlines. Refers problems to Manager and/or Team Lead. Work with minimal supervision and provide guidance to administrators. Provide coverage at both the Administrator and Management level.

Basic Purpose & Responsibilities:
Performs in a variety of functions and activities for assigned group
Assists senior team members with client inquires and client contact
Researches client inquiries and issues Develops timely and accurate responses to ensure the needs of the group
are being met
May interact and maintain internal and external client relationships
Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines
Will be assigned tasks and work to established procedures; work is subject to review by others
Able to apply basic technical skills together with business knowledge to own work and handle a single task

Qualifications

Requirements:
University/college degree with business background or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of Custody industry is beneficial
CSC is beneficial
PC literacy e.g. Work, Excel, familiarity with custody and or cash systems is preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional problem solving abilities
Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Willing to take initiative in resolving problems issues.
Ability to successfully adapt to change
Dependable (essential due to the exposure to loss and work-flow to numerous business units.
