Responsibilities/Job Description:

Requires application of mature HS knowledge.

  • Support all PTC Terminal & Pipeline Operations

  • Support PTC leadership to deliver on H&S expectations
  • Provide liaison with regulatory agencies on H&S regulatory issues
  • Review and coordinate H&S reporting
  • Provide emergency response support
  • Provide H&S project management support
  • Support H&S training and technical support for H&S issues

  • Provide field level safety leadership on projects and outages at the terminals and pipeline
  • Support OHS&E committee
  • Assist in contractor management and inspection for field level projects
  • Support Incident Investigation and corrective action implementation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Health and Safety Certificate or Diploma
  • 6 years of relevant H&S work experience
  • Other combinations of education, experience, and training may be considered
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivers abstract

Desired Qualifications:

  • CRSP

  • University degree in H&S or related field
  • Field level experience in contractor management and inspection
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience using and developing processes for managing H&S risks
  • Experience with incident investigation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced setting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of H&S regulations, industry standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets and databases)
  • Good organization skills, capable of working independently and function well in a team environment
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of pipeline and gas plant maintenance procedures and operations.
