Serco is a world leader in providing Facilities Management and Aviation Services to government and industry on five continents. The Department of National Defence has selected Serco to provide operations and maintenance services at 5 Wing Goose Bay, Labrador.

We are seeking a Terminal Controller ($43.79 – $51.72 per hour)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to the operations, including occupational health and safety, environment and quality.

Shall be responsible to the Terminal Supervisor for the overall control of instrument flight rules traffic within the Terminal Control Area.

Shall assist in the conduct of unit training of Air Traffic Control personnel.

May be required to assume the duties of Terminal Supervisor as applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful completion of a Canadian Forces, or Transport Canada/Nav Canada, or ICAO Equivalent Air Traffic Control Instrument Flight Rules Course.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level II (Secret) Security Clearance.

Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Class II Air Traffic Control Medical Certificate.

Previous Terminal endorsement is considered an asset.
