We are currently looking for a Front-End Developer Intern to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in defining and building our next generation Capital-as-a-Service platform. We’re looking for talented interns with a passion for front end web development and learning the latest cutting edge best practices.

Being a small team allows our developers to make key decisions and take ownership over their projects. We encourage collaboration with our developers across all projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS/Less, and/or Client Side Scripting (such as JavaScript or JQuery).
  • A passion for web development

We’ll REALLY love you if….

  • You have knowledge of programming languages (PHP, Node.js, React), Content Management Systems (SharePoint, WordPress, Drupal), UX,
  • Bonus if you know: MySQL, CSS Pre-Processors, Source Control Systems (SVN/Git), Frameworks for creating responsive web sites (Bootstrap, Bourbon, Angular).

What your day will look like:
Assist with Graphic Design Development projects that will include:

  • Process Change Requests for UX Designs requested by the Team
  • Modify Design Elements based on request by the Team
  • Perform Quality Control requested by the Team

Assist with Front End Development project that will include:

  • Translate Wireframes onto Live HTML Prototypes
  • Process Change Requests to update Styles, Grids and Responsive practices requested by the Team.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Bugs reported by the Team.
  • Perform Quality Control including browser testing tools requested by the Team

This internship is unpaid and will compensate in college credits, references, portfolio & resume building. This internship will run for 3 months, with the possibility of extending it to 6 months. Hours are flexible with intern’s schedule.
