The Product Manager will lead the marketing & communication program for our Lagostina brand; increase visibility and focus on long-term sustained profitability. Specific duties include:

  • Manage content for our newly created Lagostina website, implementation and rollout of the updated packaging charter
  • Develop and manage brand related marketing and communication elements (ATL and BTL actions) in an integrated manner consistent with the Lagostina brand in Canada
  • Identify strategic new product for development; analyze brand SWOT through proper evaluation of market demands and competitive activity from both a short and long-term business perspective
  • Work in conjunction with internal logistics, sales, and quality control to ensure delivery of target sales and product introduction objectives
  • Manage and ensure execution of all product launch related components, including packaging, instruction booklets, POP, videos, merchandising and any other assets required
  • Manage Lagostina product portfolio in our systems; by creating product codes, PRSC, and packaging execution
  • Conduct market research & analysis; by using the appropriate research and data tools to monitor market share, competition, and trend evolution
  • Conduct distribution analysis; by identifying, understanding, and developing product mix consistent with appropriate retailer and respective target consumer requirements
  • Plan, organize and present line reviews with General Manager Lagostina and new product introductions
  • Plan, develop and implement sales promotions activities in collaboration with retail partners, sales department and agencies


  • Degree in Business Administration, with Marketing major is preferred. MBA is an asset
  • 3 to 5 years experience in product management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to come up with product ideas intuitively and/or combining consumer insights to translate them into tangible business opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence to lead marketing action plans to trade as well as sales department
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to take calculated risks along with aptitude to think creatively
  • Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in MS-Office and ability to learn new internal company software(s)
