Superior City Services Ltd. is the provider of the environmental and industrial services throughout Canada.

We have openings for the position of “Sewer Truck Operator”, this is a Utilities Maintenance Contract that needs to work at City of Saskatoon.

BE ABLE TO START ASAP

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate the sewer/water truck and ensure safe truck operation
  • Perform pre & post trip inspections of all equipment
  • Monitor vehicle performance & mechanical fitness, including performing preventative maintenance
  • Maintain logbooks and all safety paperwork required
  • Work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 50+ pounds
  • Assist coworkers & perform other duties, as required

Requirements :

  • Available for overtime working and weekend working as required
  • Preference of 5 years of experience +
  • Work as part of a cooperative team effort, and through the use of manual labour and powered equipment and tools. Maintain effective work relationships within a team oriented operation
  • Valid class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
  • Clean driving record and professional work ethics.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic principles.
  • Self-motivated, bright, with a sense of enthusiasm.
  • Good problem solving, good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Assets :

  • Confined space entry certificate.
  • WHIMIS certificate.
  • Construction knowledge.

Wage: depending on experience and qualifications. To be further discussed at the time of the interview.
